Abstract: On the social impact of Game Design
As an artist I come from the field of medial arts with elements of play with medial systems, it has always been a concern of mine to make the critical analysis of the systems used a part of the content of the work. From the beginning I have applied this to my work with games, starting from the first game mods to the current project of critical play with neurointerfaces as a means of artistic expression. This statement focuses on the significance of play as a cultural asset. It is essential that experimental games advance the "emancipation" of players to better understand (global) challenges. Play is experienced as an instrument of problem solving, finding the right questions and respecting ambiguity and complexity of a world.

The presentation includes a LIVE PLAY of AAA_ThunderPlay.
